Featured Teacher
Students have a goal to reach 100 activities, get a prize, and then start over again to try for another prize. This keeps students motivated in their own race, rather than concerned about being ahead or behind other kids.
Great thinking Ms. Perez!
4th Grade STAAR Writing Test is this Tuesday, April 6th
Fourth grade students will be participating in STAAR testing Tuesday, April 6th. Per the Texas Education Agency, all testing must be completed at the school. Virtual learners will test separately from in-person students and all FWISD Covid-19 guidelines will be followed to ensure health and safety.
They should have a good breakfast and be at the school with a mask by 8:00am. Due to a district-wide cell phone policy stating no student is allowed the use of a cell phone especially during STAAR testing, we are requesting that students leave all backpacks and cell phones or smart watches at home on test days. The presence of a cell phone can invalidate a student’s test.
If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Cronenberg at leticia.cronenberg@fwisd.org.
