Academic Success and Challenges
SCREADY ELA and Math
We continue to look at our student data and celebrate the successes and look to embrace our challenges to see how we can improve students learning and growth. Our school earned a rating of "Good" on the SC State Report Card for the 2022-2023 school year. Our 3rd-5th grade students scored higher than the state and district average in ELA and Math on the SC Ready assessment. 56% of our students scored meet or exceeds in ELA and 41% scored meets or exceeds in math. Our data showed that our students increased growth in ELA and maintained in the area of math. Mathematics continues to be an area of growth for West View Elementary and Spartanburg School District 6. The results of these assessments continue to help drive our instructional goals and practices. WVES is committed to providing our students with the best educational experience.
