Professional Development Resources at your Fingertips
Welcome Back!
Over the course of this school year, I'm hoping to bring you articles, resources, and ideas that can bring back some of that back-to-school energy, even in the midst of January. I hope you'll find something to strike your curiosity. Of course, I'd love to talk about these articles and ideas! Drop me an email or stop by room 330, and we can find time to work together!

Another thought-provoking blog post was written by our Meadowbrook colleague Jess Lifschitz on her blog, Crawling Out of the Classroom. In "What My Reading Conferences Have Become", Jess describes her frustration with the quality and usefullness of her reading conferences and the changes she implemented in order to make them truly individualized learning opportunities. As we all, language arts and content-area teachers alike, work to differentiate and personalize learning for all of our students, the quality of the conference becomes paramount.
