Principal's Message
November 11 was a special day for everyone as we celebrated Veteran’s Day. A number of staff members have served or have family members who have served/are serving in the armed forces. We honor the sacrifices our veterans and their family members have made for our country in the name of freedom and democracy. Thank you to each veteran for their bravery, hard work, and dedication to our country.
Have a great week of learning!

New Area IV - Board Member
EJ Blair is a 2009 graduate of Shiloh HS. He holds an undergraduate degree from Harvard and a master's degree from Stanford. He became involved in education, teaching at KIPP Atlanta Collegiate, a charter school in Atlanta, and served in the Obama administration as a Policy and Advocacy Fellow at the White House Initiative on Education Excellence for African Americans.
"Teaching and learning is what I'm focused on," Blair said. "We're here to ensure kids graduate and are college ready. I'm excited to learning more about what teachers are doing and how we can support them. As a teacher, I understand how hard it can be."
We look forward to EJ Blair's leadership in Area IV.

RBES Parent Perception Survey
Last year we only had 88 parents participate in the survey. With over 725 student attending Partee ES, we hope to at least double the number of participants. Please visit the school website or click on the following link to take the survey: Parent Perception Survey. Just select Partee ES as your school.
The deadline to complete the survey is November 16.
Staffing Update
Jennifer Clowers - will be out on leave for about 6 weeks. She has the wonderful opportunity for be an organ donor for her father. Her leave will begin tomorrow, November 13. The district will provide support for the school while Mrs. Clowers is out. We will have support from the following district leader mentors who have all served as administrators in the district: Margaret Ackerman, Vivian Stranahan, Cheryl Doblar, and Stan Mayweather.
Tonya Boards - will be out on leave for about 6 weeks. She will be home recovering after undergoing a procedure this week. Her sub is Natasha Simpson, a familiar face at Partee ES. Mrs. Simpson holds a bachelor and a master's degree from Georgia State University and is an adjunct professor. Mrs. Simpson has substituted for Mrs. Boards so she is familiar with the students and the routines.
