Please know our films have appeared in several Film Festivals, including the 401, Give Me 5, the Rhode Island International Film Festival and, this February, the Providence Children's Film Festival, all with local actors. Your performance has the potential for some great exposure!
We Have Lots of Roles to Offer
7 Student filmmakers have the following parts available for...
Adult female, 20s-40s, teacher type
Teenage male, mid to late teens
Two adults for Detectives, any age or gender

One adult male, older (50+)
One adult female (middle age)
One teenager (older teen, unique/arty type)

One female (teenager, bratty and sarcastic type)
One male (middle aged, strict religious father)
One female (middle-aged, religious mother)

One female teenager (around 16)
One male teenager (around 16, popular type)
One adult male (late 20s to early 30s, scary type, is playing a cannibal)

One female (teenager, arty type--piercings, colored hair--for a comedic role)
---------------------------
One female (middle aged, caucasian mom type)
One male (older teenager to young adult, dark skinned--is son of female)
And, a special request for legal adults living on their own, to participate in a documentary. Statement of inquiry for this documentary is: Why do people choose to live where they do, and how are they affected by the environment they choose?"
(This is for people who live in either rural or urban environments)
Interview questions are: 1) Do you prefer to live in more rural or urban environments and why? 2). If you could live in a more suburban environment, would you? Why or why not?
Interviews will take place in a separate room the night of the auditions.
Beacon Film Auditions
Auditions require you SIGN-UP. Actors need to sign up for a five minute slot. Please contact Katie Reaves, Director of Beacon Film at: kreaves@beaconart.org
We ask you to present a one minute monolog. If you are a good fit for the student, you will be asked to "call back." Call back is that same evening from 8:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. At that time, you will cold read from student scripts.
