Paget's Disease
Bone Disease - By Joelle
What is Paget's Disease?
Paget's disease makes your bones grow too large and weak.
The bones break or bend and regrow abnormally.
This disease may also cause arthritis, and bones may break easily.
Usually, Paget's only affects 1 or a few bones, not the entire skeleton. It is more common in older men, though women can have it.
A cause is not known for sure, but it is thought to be a genetic disease.
If it is caught early, there are procedures and surgeries that can be done in order to keep it from getting unbearable.
