IMPORTANT ANIMAL INFORMATION FOR SARPY CO. FAIR!
- County Fair ID sheets for Beef, Swine, Goat, Sheep and Rabbits are due by June 14th.
- Showorks Online Entry for Livestock, Poultry, Rabbit, Cavy and Horse July 15th.
- State Fair Beef, Swine, Goat, and Sheep nominations are due by June 15th by 11:59 pm Validation is done through www.showstockmgr.com. The site closes at midnight. Must have a premise ID for to enter.
- Poultry and rabbits enter along with livestock for the state fair by August 10th.

4-H Fashion Show/Modeling Workshop
June 17 @ 6:30p.m. – 7:30p.m.
This is a great opportunity for 4-H members who are interested in the
4-H Fashion Show. You will learn modeling skills, tips regarding general appearance and basic accessories. There is no fee for this fun and engaging workshop. Please RSVP by contacting Cathy Raneri at craneri2@unl.edu or 402-444-4357.
Table Toppers Contest Entry - Due June 17!
Do you like to cook and create meals? Do you like to bake and prepare delicious desserts or breads? Then this fun contest is for you! 4-H youth will be inspired while they learn to pick a theme, plan a nutritious menu and learn table setting skills. Please take note of this NEW rule for the contest:
A baked food item from your menu must be brought for the judge to taste. Please refer to the Food and Nutrition section of the fairbook for acceptable choices. You may choose from Division 401 - Cooking 101, Division 414 - Miscellaneous Foods, Division 410 – Cooking 201, Division 411 – Cooking 301, or Division 412 – Cooking 401. Please think FOOD SAFETY! Items that require refrigeration or heating will not be accepted. Food preservation items are also not accepted as your food entry. See the guideline in the Food and Nutrition section of the fairbook for additional food safety rules.

State 4-H Dog Show Updates

State Fair Static Exhibitor Discount Tickets
New in 2019!
4-H youth exhibiting static exhibits at the Nebraska State Fair will order advance discount tickets directly from the Nebraska State Fair. Discount tickets will no longer be available through the county offices.
Details on ordering tickets will be available soon. All livestock exhibitors and in-person event exhibitors (contests, fashion show, presentations) will still be able to order discounted tickets when they enter in ShoWorks for State Fair. Additional information is available in the Operations Handbook.
