Happenings around the school!
Unified Track Team before their meet on Monday at Dallastown!
On Monday FFA members attended Horse Judging at Saw Horse Farm. They evaluated multiple groups of horses and ponies determining which was best in each of their class. Once they completed these evaluations they took a written test and a tack identification test.
Students were able to use their knowledge on horses to help them through this competition!
Out of 53 participants:
Milla Welch placed 7th
Tori Smith placed 18th
Kennady Laird placed 20th
A great experience overall for the students and they were able to use their glasses to watch the solar eclipse as they were at the event!
Congratulations to Ty Heilman, who recently completed the PeoplesBank Student Banker Program.
Congratulations to Mr. Jesse Shay, who was nominated to be a coach in the Big 33 Football Classic, next spring. This is a big deal! The Big 33 Football Classic is one of the nation’s finest scholastic All-Star Football Games, currently showcasing Pennsylvania and Maryland’s premier football players. Now into its sixth decade, the Football Classic is often described as “The Super Bowl of High School Football.” Congratulate Coach Shay when you see him!

The Senior High has PRIDE!
The P.R.I.D.E. Program is a character education framework which teaches and instills the virtues of being Personable, being Respectful, having Integrity, being Dependable, and being Engaged in both the school and community.
At the Senior High, not only are staff able to recognize student achievements; but also our students may recognize the good in other students or staff members. Through our online form, we are able to promote the good throughout our school and show each other the PRIDE the Senior High brings each day. The form can be accessed at: http://tinyurl.com/priderecognition or by using the QR code below.
