Elections to the offices of the Executive Committee are held annually, with the President and Secretary positions elected in even number years and the Vice President and Treasurer positions elected in odd number years, in accordance with the ACA CCP Bylaws. Each position carries a 2 year term. Thank you for submitting your nominations, please watch your email for a ballot, sent by Bethany Clifton of the ACA. Your participation in the nomination and election of the Executive Council is greatly appreciated!

👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽Welcome the NEW SACA Liaison- Taylor McCray
Taylor McCray is a current second trimester student at National University of Health Sciences, Florida Campus. She received her bachelor’s degree in Medical Humanities from Saint Leo University in 2023. Taylor found a passion in Chiropractic after enduring many spinal injuries due to sports throughout her youth. She plans to dive into the world of pediatrics as a specialty, and is very excited to see where this journey takes her!

NCMIC Foundation Presents Research Award to Dr. Katherine Pohlman ACA member Katherine Pohlman, DC, MS, PhD, is the recipient of the NCMIC Foundation’s 2024 George P. McAndrews, JD, and Jermone F. McAndrews, DC, Memorial Research Award. The award is given to a rising star in the profession who has demonstrated dedication to furthering the profession. Dr. Pohlman is the director of research at Parker University, where she has managed several federally-funded research studies, including the largest randomized controlled trial in the military for chiropractic. Dr. Pohlman also has directed the world’s largest study evaluating patient safety among spinal manipulation therapy providers. In addition, she is an inaugural fellow of the Chiropractic Academy of Research and Leadership (CARL) program, vice president of the ACA Council on Women’s Health, and the 2020 recipient of the ACA’s George B. McClelland Researcher of the Year Award.
