CLEARWATER STEAM NEWSLETTER
Home of the Dolphins March 18 - 22, 2024
Greetings Clearwater Families,
I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend!
One of our goals at Clearwater is to increase the participation of parents in our school. Each year we ask our Educational Partners to evaluate our parent involvement efforts in the Title I Program. We would appreciate your support by completing the survey. TITLE I Survey Link
We've had a busy and exciting week last week! See the images and videos below for highlights of the week!
Please take the time to review the upcoming events this week. Let's make it another great week at Clearwater!
Science Olympiad
Let's extend our congratulations to our Scientific Dolphins for their outstanding participation in the Science Olympiad this past weekend! Each team showcased their skills in a variety of events, with Clearwater securing 12 medals! Our team dominated the event, Save the Ice with four medals. Well done, Clearwater Scientific Dolphins!
A huge shoutout to the dedicated teachers who coached and invested their time in preparing the teams: Ms. Cohenour, Ms. Pulido, Ms. Dullweber, Mr. Martinez, Mrs. Roth, and Mrs. Volpe! Thank You!

COUNSELOR CORNER
It is that time of the year again! The SEL surveys will be ready to launch on April 8th, and the survey window will close on April 19th. The Panorama survey is important because it provides counselors with valuable data about students and how to facilitate improvement. Then, counselors are able to review data and form groups for those students in need.
In the coming days, we will be sending out a parent link for those who would like to opt their child of participating. School site admin will then be provided the names of student who are not to participate.
Women History Facts
The 19th Amendment was signed into law on August 26, 1920. Unfortunately, at the time, other laws prohibited Native American, Black, Asian American, and Latina women from voting.
March is Women History Month!!!
Dania Ramirez Women History Month
In celebration of Women’s History Month, Dania Ramirez shares what she loves about being a woman and how her grandmother inspired her to be the woman she is today.
Here is a compilation of videos from Sesame Street that shows clips of women who played in an episode. You can review the videos and select which ones you want to show to your students.
