Class Placement / Report Cards
Class Placement procedures will be slightly different this year. Students will find out their homeroom number / teacher assignment on Monday, August 3rd.
Families will be able to access Report Cards via the Parent Portal. Report Cards will not be printed and sent home this school year.
As always, thank you for your flexibility, understanding, and patience during this time.

Virtual Field Day
On Friday, June 5th, elementary students across the district will participate in a virtual Field Day. Mr. Battis will post the events on June 1st. We are hopeful that the students can take some time to enjoy this day as they wear their Jamison colors (black, teal, or white) or Jamison spirit wear.
If interested, this might be a fun activity to complete as a family. Feel free to adjust the time frame to meet your family’s needs.
Mr. Battis’ directions, via SeeSaw, will outline the day’s events. During your Field Day experience, take a few pictures and email your best photo (1 per family) to Mrs. Salter at tsalter@cbsd.org OR Mr. Battis at gbattis@cbsd.org. Our Jamison team plans to create a slideshow from all the pictures and send out to our community.

6th Grade Promotion
Our 6th grade promotion will be held on Wednesday, June 10th starting at 6:30PM.
We have taken many things into consideration and have tried to make this event as special as we possibly can given the circumstances. Below is a general outline of the events planned:
- 6:30-7:00PM - TEAMS gathering for each homeroom. Each homeroom teacher will hold a virtual gathering from 6:30 to 7:00PM. During this timeframe, I will “visit” each classroom and say a few words to the students. An invite link to this event will be sent to all students, by their teachers, on that specific date. Teachers will communicate this process.
- 7:00PM - Our recorded sessions will begin. I will record my opening remarks, specific award presentations, video tributes, and closing remarks. The sixth grade teachers will also have a recorded piece that will include specific awards and remarks as part of the promotion. All will be accessible to students and their families.
Our 6th grade students will be the first class in Jamison’s history to be “promoted” virtually!!!
May Boomerang Award
Asset - Personal Power. This is when a young person feels he or she has control over things. Given the recent circumstances, this asset is quite challenging. While children do not have control over the pandemic, they do have control over their own choices.
Winner: Keenan McCafferty
Nominees: Maddie Auerbach, Hayden Burak, Emily Campbell, Trent Cunningham, Emily Hofmeister, and Mydhili Pillai

Student Material / Supply Drop Off (6/17)
Jamison Community,
On Wednesday, June 17, student materials will be collected. I'm working on a plan that will be emailed to all of you about the specifics.
During the drop off, Jamison will collect student textbooks, library books, technology, etc...
Again, a stand alone communication will be sent out with all the specifics.
Thank you!
