Annual 8th Grade IB Shadowing at Stony Point is a success!
Congratulations to Alejandra Ramos Ortiz!
The Edison Lecture Series is a free, interactive STEM learning experience hosted by The University of Texas at Austin Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering that engages middle and high school students with the fun side of electrical and computer engineering. Attendees learn the fundamentals of an engineering topic through a university-style lecture, then see these concepts come to life through hands-on demos. Every year, the Edison Lecture Series hosts a poster contest to design the poster for the following year’s lecture. Our own Alejandra Ramos Ortiz placed second in the poster contest, winning a Professional Printing 3D Pen with OLED Display. Be sure to congratulate this Tiger when you see her!
National Signing Day
National Signing Day has traditionally been the first day that a high school senior can sign a binding National Letter of Intent for a collegiate sport with a school that is a member of the United States National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA). Years of hard work from these student-athletes have led to this moment. We are very proud of these Tigers!
