Carl Wunsche Sr. High School
Principal’s Note Today marks the end of the third quarter and the start of Spring Break. I hope everyone has a safe and fulfilling break next week. As we continue to strive for excellence at Wunsche, it's imperative that we address an important aspect of our conduct both within our school walls and on social media. Students, you are attending a professional career academy, each of you represents not just yourselves, but also our campus. With this in mind, I want to emphasize the significance of maintaining a high standard of etiquette, particularly concerning language and behavior on social media platforms. Part of what makes our campus unique are the internships with industry partners willing to support responsible positive high school students. Each of you contribute to our community reputation with the choices you make as a Wunsche student. It is crucial to remember that your words hold weight, whether spoken in person or typed out online. Any language that is offensive, derogatory, or perceived as threatening is not acceptable. This includes comments that may target individuals based on race, sex, gender, or any other personal characteristic. Such behavior can be construed as bullying and goes against the values of our community. Please be aware that there are consequences for violating these standards. Any student found engaging in such behavior may face disciplinary action, which could include losing privileges or even their seat at Wunsche. It our goal to uphold a culture of respect and empathy. We value the success and well-being of every member of our community. Remember, your actions not only reflect on yourself but also on your peers and Wunsche as a whole. I urge each of you to be mindful of your words and actions, both offline and online. Let us strive to create a positive and inclusive environment where everyone can thrive. Success begins with you. Dr. James
