Please Keep Junk Food Out of CLA
Our district wellness policy encourages us to “support the district's wellness goals by considering nutritional quality when selecting any food or beverages which may be donated for occasional classroom, snacks, or school-wide celebrations.” It's important to keep in mind that sharing food in classrooms for parties or other celebrations can potentially pose risks for students with both known and unknown food allergies. It's always a good idea to prioritize safety and consider alternative ways to celebrate, such as non-food activities.
