Mrs. Kott's Korner
Did you see the awesome students of Davisburg Elementary showcasing their talent last week? Wow! Congratulations to all of the performers! Thank you so much to the PTC Talent Show committee members for helping our students shine!
Speaking of students shining, what an outstanding job our students have done on the M-Step assessment! This week wrapped up our “official” testing days. Make up tests will be done for 3rd graders next week. Thank you for helping to ensure your child is at school, well rested, and ready to do their best.
There are many end of the school year papers to turn in and events to keep track of. Please contact your child’s teacher or the office if you need assistance, have questions, or are unsure about upcoming activities. As always, we value your partnership!
With every “Good Morning” at the start of the day, and each “See you tomorrow” at the end of the day, I am blessed with smiles, hugs and high fives. It is an absolute joy to be at Davisburg! I really am the luckiest Principal ever!
Have a great weekend!
Denise Kott

Back to School Health and Enrollment Fair
Please join us for free school supplies, dental and vision screenings, haircuts, lunch, shots, and more. There will also be information tables for many community organizations that help our families.
In order to help as many families with school supplies as possible, we are asking those who can to donate basic school supplies (pencils, paper, folders, glue sticks, backpacks, etc.) to our office. There will be a donation bin and all supplies will be used for the Fair. Thanks in advance for your help!

Sports Physicals
Might your son or daughter need a physical for school sports, youth sports, summer camp, scouts or another activity? If so, you will want to consider this great and inexpensive opportunity.
On June 5th, our team physician Dr. Larry Baylis and his staff will be at Holly High School. On this day, students will be able to get a physical for the low price of $15. Physical day begins at 4pm. An end time is not set, as that is dependent on how many students sign up for a physical. If you would like to schedule an appointment close to the start time, make an appointment soon. If you would like a late afternoon time slot, make your appointment later this month. We will sell appointment times the ENTIRE month of May.
The process:
1. The student or a parent should stop in the HS main office (8am-3pm), the MS main office (8am-3pm) or the athletic office (9am-3pm) with $15 to purchase an appt. time. A great time for HS students to make an appointment is during their lunch hour. Appointments cannot be made over the phone as payment is due when you schedule. We will accept cash or a check made out to Holly Area Schools. A receipt will be issued when payment is made.
2. When you submit payment, an appointment time will be assigned and an appt. card will be stapled to a physical form. Both sides of the form must be completed PRIOR to your June 5th appointment. Parents, please double check the form, make certain ALL info is filled in and all signature lines are too. The only portion that you may leave blank will be the section Dr. Baylis will complete.
3. On June 5th, arrive at Holly HS for your appointment...on time or early.
The middle and high school offices are open Monday-Friday, from 8am until 3pm; the athletic office from 9am until 3pm. Should it be more convenient to come to the high school between the hours of 5 and 7pm, you may do so on May 8, 9, 10, 11, 15, 17 and 22. The AD can be in the athletic office these evenings as we host track meets, lacrosse or soccer games these nights. (Suggestion – call ahead so the AD can make an arrangement to meet you. It may be difficult to find her if she is at the stadium.)
If you have a question, please contact the athletic office at 248-328-3247. Remember, if you want a physical appointment close to 4pm, schedule now. If you want a late afternoon appointment, schedule later this month.
