APRIL / MAY IMPORTANT DATES
We all know how hectic the months of April & May are for families; especially ones with multiple children spread across multiple grade levels. In an attempt to help you plan a little bit in advance, we have compiled some of the major “happenings” for Holy Childhood for April and May. This is not a complete comprehensive list. We simply put the events down that we feel you should be aware of for now. We ask that you continue to watch the weekly newsletter IF dates change or events are added/deleted.

MONTH OF THE MILITARY CHILD
The month of April is proclaimed Month of the Military Child. With our close relationship with Scott AFB, we have been blessed with many military families in our Parish. To celebrate and honor these families and their children, after Easter, we will be doing small daily “things” to help us recognize and honor these families.
During the entire week of April 22, we will be celebrating the children of our active military families.
STUDENTS OF THE MONTH FOR MARCH
PRAYERS FOR OUR ST. CLARE DIOCESCAN SCHOOL
As some of you might have heard yesterday, St. Clare school in O'Fallon suffered from a gas leak. According to KSDK, gas leaked from the cafeteria into the gymnasium where they were conducting Mass causing several students to become sick.
With these incidents, as scary as they are for others, it does remind us to take care of our facilities here. I had our Maintenance staff check all of our piping and gas fixtures to see if there is anything in need of repair.
