Physical Activity Guidlines
In this day and age, it is highly recommended that at least 1 hour of sport is completed on a daily basis. Aerobics are one of the most effective sports to flex and exercise your muscles. In the NSW health guideline, it states that sports should be a daily practise at home for at least 3 days in a week.
Physical Activity on a daily basis
We could incorporate sports into our daily basis by trying to engage in sport for a few hours, limiting usage of technology, keep moving around(try getting out of the habit of sitting down for long periods of time and of course; committing yourself to it. You won't be able to do anything without trying to give up time to try something else. Anytime you may be your computer for too long, just get up and have a stretch. Go for walks around your neighbourhood or even jogging in the park!
How does being active contribute to a good health?
Some ways you would benefit are: Reducing risk of heart attack, manage your weight better; more activities to compete in, have a lower blood cholesterol level; healthy, lower the risk of type 2 diabetes and some cancers, have lower blood pressure, have stronger bones, muscles and lower the risk of osteoporosis. By benefitting from those, this would also mean long term benefit from reducing chances of health problems. Although, if sport is not continued, it could result in some of the listed problems due to the disruption of sport.
