Things to Be Aware of:
- On the last Thursday of the school year, 7th and 8th-grade students will have the opportunity to attend a field trip if they are meeting the academic expectations of the classroom. Students that are not eligible to attend will have the opportunity to complete coursework and increase their grades that day during their classes. Here is the 7th Grade Field Trip Form. We will update this newsletter and next week's with a link to the 8th Grade Field Trip Form as soon as we solidify their activity plans. For lunch, students can bring their own from home, request a sack lunch from the lunchroom, or there will be hot dogs and chips provided for any students that would want one.
- With the short amount of days left in the school year, the lunchroom will no longer allow charges for breakfast and lunch. Please pay any remaining balances as well.
- STAR testing in Math classes will be starting soon, along with any ISAT make-ups. If you have questions or concerns regarding this, please contact the district office.
- Idaho's new accountability system includes a student engagement survey. Schools will need to administer this survey to students in grades 3-8 this school year. The survey questions for middle school students can be found here. This survey will be administered to students at RMMS on Wednesday, May 23rd during their Language Arts class. If you would like to opt your child out of this 3rd party survey, please complete this form and turn it into the main office.
