Here is how you can help:
- Check your ParentVUE account. Find resources to access your ParentVue account here. If you need more help, please call the school and speak to your student's counselor. (Scroll to the bottom of the newsletter for the list of counselors.)
- Help students look for missing assignments.
- Tell students to see teachers NOW if they are confused.
The good news is, if students miss an assignment or are confused by an assignment they can fix it now before they fall too far behind. Be sure to check in with your student's teachers if you have questions or your child needs support.

@777Vote is seeking school-age students, to serve as Election Day aides. Its main goal is to increase civic participation & knowledge of the political process. Serving gives students their first exposure to the actual logistics of the democratic process in the US

MCPS Student Handbooks
The four key handbooks and guidelines developed for students of Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS) have been revised for the 2022-2023 school year to address Board of Education (Board) policies and MCPS regulations amended and revised over the 2021-2022 school year, and comply with updated guidance from the Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE).
Updated online versions of all four handbooks are available on the MCPS website at https://www.montgomeryschoolsmd.org/students/rights/. On this site you will find:

TUTORING RESOURCES
FREE AND REDUCED-PRICE MEALS
Apply for meal benefits by completing an Application for Free and Reduced-Price Meals for the current school year. Apply online NOW at MySchoolApps.com (Translations available) Click here for English video tutorial. Click here for Spanish video tutorial.
- Federal eligibility guidelines change each school year; therefore a new application must be submitted each school year.
- All students in the family should be listed on one household application.
- A notice will be mailed home for each student if you are approved for meal benefits or do not qualify for meal benefits.
- Families may apply for meal benefits at any time during the school year.
- Households that are unable to apply online should contact the school or the Division of Food and Nutrition Services at 301-284-4900. Please click here to apply online.
