Written and illustrated by ME
a book-making workshop for homeschoolers
Join us in the studio at Free to be a Child for an afternoon of book-making
Do you love to read? Or write?
Maybe you're known for the stories you're always inventing.
Or you have a true story to tell.
Or maybe you're an artist. Love to draw or paint or make collage?
Come be the author and illustrator of your own book!
In our well-stocked studio, you'll find inspiration and all the materials you'll need.
Just bring your ideas!
(and maybe some photos or souvenirs, if you'd like to tell that kind of a story)
Open to home-schooled children ages 4 through 7.
(Younger siblings welcome to hang out and play with their parents.)

Where?
Free to be a Child early childhood program, Florence
Free to be a Child is a Reggio-inspired, home-based early childhood program
At Free to be a Child,
children spend their days out in nature
and in the surrounding community,
and in our cozy sun-filled family room, kitchen, and studio;
learning in relationship with others
through open-ended play
and a rich curriculum based on their own interests.
Free to be a Child will have a two-day opening for a 5-7 year-old child in September 2015. Maybe you'd like to join us! Now is a great time to come check us out to see if we'd be a good fit for your family.
