AFTERNOON PARENT PICK-UP
Absence reporting: please email eaglesnest@napls.us or call 614-413-8681 to report your child’s absence/early pickup before 1 pm for each occurrence. Please note that this is in addition to contacting the school to report an absence. Failure to do so will result in a $5 tracking fee being added to your PayForIt account. Repeated failure to report may result in termination of Eagle’s Nest services.
For afternoon pickup, parents come through the green double doors near the primary school gymnasium. We will have a white sign posted outside our entrance. Inside, show your ID to an Eagle’s Nest staff member standing at the black cart.
Parent sign out sheets are on the table to the left. All students must be signed in and out each day with parent initials and arrival time in the designated space.
Eagle’s Nest staff will call for your student after checking your ID, please bring it inside with you each day. Please remain in the pickup area during the dismissal process, your child will come to you. Please allow extra wait time at the beginning of the school year as we teach all students our program expectations and procedures; it may take five minutes or more for your child to reach you.
For student safety and security, students are not permitted to return to their classrooms during Eagle’s Nest hours. Additionally, adults are not allowed to walk through the building past the gymnasium or cafeteria. If you need to contact someone or travel within the building for any reason, please exit the Eagle’s Nest doors and proceed outside to the Primary School main entrance to meet your expected party. This helps to ensure building safety for all.
There are no adult bathrooms in the Eagle’s Nest area. Bathrooms are for Eagle’s Nest student use only until 6:00 p.m.
Please remember that school bus transportation is not available to students who are registered for morning and afternoon Eagle’s Nest.
