Evidence of Learning
Coming home with your child this week is their Evidence of Learning Portfolio. Please go through this with your child. We believe it is important for parents/guardians to play an active role in their child's education. After reviewing the Evidence of Learning Portfolio please fill out the parent reflection piece and bring it to Three Way Conferences next week.
Three Way Conferences
Our first set of interviews will be taking place on Tuesday, October 25th and Thursday, October 27th from 4pm-7pm. The format for this interview is a three way conferece. This means that the interview will include the teacher, parents/guardian and the student. Information to sign up will be sent out early next week. Your child's teacher will also be sending home their Evidence of Learning Folder next Friday. Booking link is below.

Take your learning outside day
APPLE PICK UP
Apple orders from school council can be picked up at two times on Tuesday, October 25th. These times are 12-1:30pm and 4-7pm. The apples can be picked up from the large sheds adjacent to the staff parking lot.

Reminder to register for hot lunch!
Each year you have to register your child for hot lunch with their new teacher.

halloween
Wishing you a very safe and fun Halloween. See you at the St. Pat's Halloween costume parade on Monday, October 31 @ 1 pm in the school gym. Individual classes will return to their respective class rooms after this time to celebrate various Halloween activities. Students will have an oppertunity to change after lunch into their costumes.

SCHOOL OFFICE REMINDERS...
The office hours are: 8:00 - 3:30 during scheduled school days.
If calling during lunch time (12:00 - 12:30) please leave a message and Ms. Miller will return your call as soon as she can.
Remember to phone and book an appointment if you need to come into the school @ 780-672-2177.
Parent Volunteers
Parents wanting to volunteer at the school or for field trips need to have a Criminal Record Check, Child Intervention Check and sign a Volunteer Confidentiality Undertaking form.
Request forms for these can be picked up at the school office. If you are unsure if you have these documents already completed you can call the office and we can check. These checks can take a while to process so if you are wanting to volunteer please get these done ASAP.
End of day phone messages to students
If you have a message to pass onto your child for end of day arrangements please call the school office no later than 2:45 pm due to the end of day staggered dismissal times.
It is very difficult to find a child once they have left the classroom at the end of the school day.
Parent/visitor access
All visitors to the school must sign in at the office.
Student absences
Please report student absences to the office or through school messanger.
