Did you know elephants spend up to 18 hours eating every day. Elephant can stand 13 feet tall. they have grey skin and large ears more. African elephants elephants live on the savannas in Africa. Elephants eat more then 200 pounds of food everyday. They eat grass, fruit, leaves, and and bark. Elephants need food and water to stay cool in the hot savannas. A baby elephant is called a calf. All of the elephants help to raise a calf. Elephants weigh about 15,400 pounds when they are full grown. Elephants roll in mud or swim every day to stay cool. In conclusion elephants are large mammals that live on the African Savanna, and eat a lot of food.
