Hi Cardinals,

Please remember to RSVP for our Friendship Parties by Monday, Jan. 30th at 8:00am. This will give us time to call parents the week of the 30th if we were unable to print a badge. We will be out of school the week of Feb. 6th and then parties will be on Tuesday, Feb. 14th. A big thank you to Miss Dorsett, Mrs. Galvan, and all of our Cardinals who participated in our Art and Music Showcase on Thursday! The Art Club did a great job on pumpkins and other art pieces, and the Cardinal con Calore instrumental concert was fantastic! We loved learning how to use a variety of musical instruments during the show and tell portion of the showcase. I am so impressed with our Cardinals and how they are taking flight!

Monday we will be kicking off our Kids Heart Challenge and celebrating our heart heroes! We can't wait to come together as a campus to raise money for the American Heart Association. See more information below!

Hello, Heart Heroes!

Our Kids Heart Challenge program is kicking off soon! KHC is a tradition at our school where students learn how and why they should take care of their hearts. Families will also have an opportunity to help others by raising awareness and funds to fight heart disease when they complete Finn's Mission!

Did you know that 75% of all cardiac arrests occur in the home? And it takes less than two minutes to learn how to save a life! That’s why we partner with the American Heart Association to create awareness and raise lifesaving donations for their mission. Our school and the American Heart Association are on a mission through the Kids Heart Challenge program to educate 1.8 million families on Hands-Only CPR nationally. We need your help!

Please send a written note to school with your child for all transportation changes.

If it becomes necessary to change your child's mode of transportation during the school day, please call the front office at 281-641-3400 before 2:40 pm. Please do not email teachers regarding transportation changes as they will be focused on instruction throughout the day and may miss the email.

Our goal is to have clothes on hand in our clinic so that if students need a change of clothes for any reason during the school day (ex. bathroom accident, spilled food/milk on them, fell in the mud, or what they decided to wear has now become uncomfortable) we are able to get them changed and back to class as quickly as possible. We don't want anyone having to sit in the clinic waiting for a change of clothes and missing valuable instruction time. If your students has borrowed a change of clothes, please be diligent about returning them so we can use them for others who need them. Thank you for all your help and support!
