Personal Care Drive

In partnership with the Baxter Community and the York County Council on Aging (YCCOA), students and staff at Orchard Park will be collecting full size personal care items for the undeserved senior population of York County the week of October 30 - November 3. Please make note of the Book Character Dress Up Day on October 31.

Vote for Our Teacher!

Lindsey Stephenson, a 5th grade teacher at Orchard Park, was recently nominated as the Carolina Panthers Teacher of the Week and we need your help! The nominee with the most votes will win a large basket of school supplies, paper, and 2 Carolina Panthers tickets. Please celebrate her by casting your vote between Wednesday October 25 and November 1! You can read her nomination and vote at this website!


We continue to have multiple occurrences of lice. Watch this video to learn more about these critters.

Volunteers Needed!

JA in a Day will be held Monday, December 18. It will be a day dedicated to teaching children (k-12) about financial literacy, entrepreneurship and work readiness skills. Volunteers are needed to present the JA curriculum to students – giving students the opportunity to benefit from the volunteer’s background and experience. Please complete this form if you are interested in serving as a volunteer for JA in a Day.

Lost & Found

After the recent cool weather, we are seeing an increase in the number of jackets and sweaters that have been collected around our school. Please remind your child to check the lost and found area on the ramp to the stage in our cafeteria if he/she has a missing item.

Holiday Angel Tree

Fall Book Fair

The Fall Book Fair will be the week of November 6-10. Volunteers are needed to help set up and tear down the boom fair and helpers are needed in the mornings to help our younger students make selections within their budget. More details and a volunteer signup coming soon.

Nailing the Future Spirit Day

Wednesday, Nov. 8th, 11am-8pm

Bring your creativity and let Nailed It guide you step by step to create a beautiful piece for your home. Enjoy some craft time by yourself or bring the kids after school. Ages 5+ are welcome with adult. Don’t have time to craft? Come take a look at the extensive retail selections- fabulous pieces already finished for you!

Preregistration is required.
