The Next Chapter is Upon Us
What is Today
For many of us a the Mitchell Middle School, today marks the end of a chapter and the beginning of a next. We have worked to usher our 8th graders through three years of trials, tribulations, and success stories and today we will say goodbye to them for the last time. On the flip side of this, we will be getting an entirely new batch of kids in the fall! They were here on tours last week and seem to be full of excitement and apprehension about the Middle School. I bet it won't take but a few weeks for them to get comfortable in their new home.
Also remember that today marks the last day for a few of our staff. Their new chapter may be a new school, new district, or new life adventure. Thank you for everything you have given the Mitchell Middle School; our students are better because of what you have accomplished here. Don't forget to come back and say 'Hello' once in a while.
