FAQ'S ABOUT THE DISNEY RAFFLE

Q 1: If I win the mega raffle do I have to use the whole amount on my first trip?
A: Yes.


Q 2: Is there an expiration on the funds?
A: Your trip must be booked within 6 months of the raffle and the travel must take place within a year of the booking.

Q 3: What Disney properties can I use, and can airfare be included?A: All Disney properties can be used -- any resorts at Walt Disney World, Disneyland, Disney cruise line or adventures by Disney or Vero Beach or Aulani. Airfare can be included but usually will not make financial sense when flying from New Orleans as Disney does not include Southwest in their preferred carriers.


Q 4: Can I use the funds on Disney Cruises?
A: Definitely!

Q 5: Can I use the funds on Adventures by Disney?
A: Yes!!


Q 6: If someone that is from an area other than Slidell wins the griddle can it be shipped to them?

A: Yes. Larry at ACE Hardware will coordinate the shipment.

SMM SPRING SOIREE’ CELEBRATES

Masquerade

St. Margaret Mary Catholic School proudly presents its annual Spring Soiree’. We will celebrate “Masquerade” on Saturday, April 24, 2021, at 7:00pm, under the tent by the Art Room. Our annual soiree and auction is a fundraiser for our “Superstar” teachers, with all proceeds going directly to them in the form of a signing bonus.


Our event will feature fine food, spirits, and entertainment including music, silent auction, live auction, Charger Charms, 50/50 raffle, and much more. Our event draws approximately 300 patrons each year who help us raise funds for our truly deserving and severely underpaid teachers.


We are asking local businesses in our community to support this event. We need gift cards/certificates of any amount that will be used as prizes for games. In exchange for your generous donation, your business name will be included in our event program and as well as a scrolling power-point of business supporters which will be shown continuously throughout the 5 hour event.


Our silent auction will be more personal in scope than years past.

If you are willing and able to support us with a gift card/certificate, please use the enclosed stamped envelope to send it to our school office. Our gala event will be held April 24th from 7 pm till Midnight. Our Soiree’ is a great party for a worthy cause. All money raised will go to our classroom teachers and staff as a special bonus. Our teachers do a wonderful job with our children yet make significantly less than their peers in the public schools. This event helps Saint Margaret Mary retain and attract the high-quality faculty we enjoy and still have tuition low enough to maintain an economically diverse student body.
