Media Center Newsletter

To create this newsletter, I'm using a site called Smore (www.smore.com). The purpose of the newsletter is to share some of the opportunities that the Connersville High School Media Center has available for students and teachers.

Things that Kim Giesting can do for you

  • Compile print and nonprint (electronic) information for your class assignments
  • Co-plan and/or co-teach a lesson (in your classroom or the library)
  • Talk about/recommend books
  • Assist students and teachers with research
  • Assist students and teachers with technology
  • Teach web programs and tools
  • Order materials for the Media Center that compliment your curriculum
  • Help in any other way!

Resources available in the Media Center

  • Print materials - Books, Magazines, Newspapers, and Professional Teacher Library
  • 30 Computers (if two classes sign up, we allot 15 computers per class)
  • LCD Projector carts (w/laptop and speakers)
  • DVD players
  • Video cameras
  • Overhead projectors and bulbs
  • Die Cut Machine (cuts letters and shapes for bulletin boards)
