Call for Proposals

The Mormon Mental Health Association 3rd Annual Conference


The Conference Committee of the Mormon Mental Health Association invites the submission of workshop proposals for presentation at the 2016 annual conference. Proposals are welcome from all individuals and organizations who are committed to improving the quality of individual, couple, family and/or community mental health serving the LDS/Mormon population.

MMHA will consider proposals from all qualified professionals. You do not have to be a member of MMHA to submit a proposal. Clinical or educator credentials are expected (students are allowed to present if accompanies by a professor/supervisor). Presentations do not need to follow conference theme.

Deadline for submitting a proposal has been extended to May 27, 2016.

Applicants will be notified by May 31, 2016 as to whether or not their proposals have been accepted.

When: July 27, 2016 from 9am - 5pm

Where: Salt Lake City, Utah - University of Utah, Student Union Center

Theme: Promoting Equality in Relationships

Keynote: TBD

Deadline for Proposals: May 27, 2016

Workshops should engage participants and focus on sharing new information and/or expanding current information, perceptions and knowledge. Workshops are 1.5 hours in length and will be recorded and offered for sale to MMHA members who are unable to attend the conference.

In order to be considered, please submit the Presenter Agreement form, Proposal form and a copy of your resume/CV by May 15, 2016. Incomplete proposals will not be considered.
