August 2013

Letter From The President

Morgan Franklin

Dear First-Years,

Welcome to Music City and your new family away from home - the Black Student Alliance! We are so excited to meet all of you at Move-In Day! I hope ya'll are ready to start your journey at Vanderbilt and to explore everything that campus and Nashville has to offer. Every week the BSA will have a newsletter, similar to this, that will contain information about what is going on in the BSA and the rest of campus for the upcoming week. This edition will have BSA events through the end of August as well as some of the big back to school events from our fellow organizations. Make sure you mark these events down in your calendar, because your not going to want to miss these! Get ready for the most exciting part of your life to begin, and make sure you start it off right by bringing yourself and your family to our Welcome Panel on Move-In day! Safe travels, see you all soon.
