Early Release is at 3:05 this Thursday 12/4.

Anytime the temperature and/or windchill is 25 below we will have indoor recess. Please make sure that your child is prepared with Winter coats, gloves, and a hat.

December Reading logs are coming home today! Please encourage your child to read every night!

UPDATED! Here's the link to our website:

It would be awesome if students used the Student Resource tab and practiced on StudyIsland and Kakoom at home!

Check out the Parent Resource tab for videos of myself in the Crestview refresh sessions!

Donations please: We are still in need of tissue boxes.

This week we will begin looking at different Folktales in literature. We will discover and notice how Folktales are similar and different from previous genres we have looked at, Myths and Fables. Folktales also have a great theme. We will be discovering the moral of each Folktale we read.

This week we are diving into Unit 4 by working with different angles and lines. Students will be learning about acute, right, and obtuse angles. They will be creating their own angles and learning how to label them. Students will also be working with parallel, perpendicular, and intersecting lines.

Math Folder: Folders will be coming home today. Please work with your student every night to help improve their math fact fluency.

Homework: Given Wednesday, due Friday! (this is different from math folder)

We are beginning a new unit this week! Student will be learning about how to write different types of opinion pieces.

Please don't hesitate to call or email if you have questions or concerns! I hope you enjoy the Newsletter!
