PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE
Kia ora Families
We look forward to seeing you on Wednesday between 5pm and 6pm for our Matariki celebration!
Along with free sausages and milo, there will be several fun activities for families to take part in.
We are also going to officially open our new native path at 5:30pm. Hawkes Bay regional councillor Hinewai Ormsby will be attending as our special guest to 'cut the ribbon'.
See you next Wednesday!
Nga mihi,
Steve
Congratulations Mr Race!!!
We are so excited for Tim but also sad that he will be leaving us at the end of the term to take up his new new position for term three.
Tim has been a wonderful teacher and assistant principal. He has also made a significant contribution to the beautification of our environment, including our new native garden path.
We wish Tim all the best for the future.
We will begin the process of finding a new replacement for Tim and will let you know when we have made an appointment.

Learning Conferences
School will close at the usual time of 3pm on both days. Interviews will however start at 2:10pm on Monday 4 July - children will be supervised on the field till 3pm by Mr Bloor and support staff.
Due to the high level of absences this term of both children and staff members, your child's learning folders may have less entries than usual.
This year we are using the online portal www.schoolinterviews.co.nz for parents to be able to book an interview. We will send you the 'event code' and link to the website in next week's newsletter.

Congratulations to this week's class certificate winners!
