Cougar Back to School Update
August 21, 2018
Principal's Message
The first day of school and open house are exciting times for students and families. As we get ready for the start of school it is important that a few details are finalized to make sure everything runs smoothly. Please send your student to school the first day the way they will go home. Student's hands will be marked as they get off the bus in the morning. If your child goes home a different way than they come to school please make sure that your child's teacher and the main office are aware of this. We want to ensure that everyone gets home safely the first day and every day of school!
Transportation information is now on the website. Bus information can be found here: https://www.mpark.net/departments/transportation/bus-schedules. Please note that during the first week of school delays of 30 minutes are common as everyone adjusts to new bus schedules. Please be patient!
Immunizations and physicals must be up to date and turned in for all kindergarten students. Immunization requirements can be found here: https://www.mpark.net/departments/school-health. Please read this carefully to ensure that your child is properly immunized.
I look forward to seeing everyone on Thursday between 4:00-7:00 for Open House!
Sincerely,
Mrs. Gwynn

Online Returning Student Data Verification Is Now Open
Parents of returning students must access the Infosnap online forms through the PowerSchool Parent Portal at https://ps.mpark.net/public. At least one parent is required to create a PowerSchool Parent account. If you have multiple children in Manassas Park City Schools, you must verify information for each student, however only one parent account is necessary.
