A Night at the Opera

Student Night at the Piedmont Opera

A Chance to See Professional Performers in Action!

One of the best ways to learn how to be a quality vocalist, is to see and hear great vocalists perform. This is a great opportunity for your student.

When: Wednesday, October 29th

The show will begin at 7:30. We will leave Mrs. Cooper's house at 5:00. We will eat dinner at Mellow Mushroom downtown, then we will walk across the street to see the show!

Madame Butterfly by Puccini

Details for the Night

Tickets are ONLY $5.00!

Money is due to Mrs. Cooper by September 10th. Please send your money in with your regular lesson money sometime. Please send it in cash or check (to Ashleigh Cooper). Also, students should bring money for dinner at Mellow Mushroom the night of the event.

You will also need to return the Travel Permission form. This form gives your student permission to ride in the car with Mrs. Cooper/Mr. Cooper/another chaperone to and from the event. This form is also due by September 10th.

If a parent is interested in attending/driving, tickets are $15.00 for chaperones. I cannot have more adults than students, so sadly I can't have every parent join us.

This is not required. If you student has a conflict on Wednesday evenings, then it is fine if they cannot join us. We will miss them, but they will not be in trouble or set back. This is simply an enrichment activity! It will also be a good way for the students in the voice studio to get to know each other and socialize!
