LAKE WORTH HIGH SCHOOL

Weekly Memo 9/19/2016

MISSION

We will lead all students to be productive citizens.

VISION

Lake Worth High School provides a customized learning experience that values individual growth and achievement.

I would like to ask for some help from any of you that at some point during the year will need to pull students during the school day. We need to ensure teachers have plenty of time to plan for students that are going to be absent. In addition, there are district guidelines on the number of days that can be missed for extracurricular and UIL activities, and over time there is a significant amount of instruction time missed. At your convenience this coming week, we need for you to take a look at your calendar for the year and note the days students will need to miss all or part of a school day. Mr. Emshoff will compile it and we will ensure things are placed on the calendar. If you have not yet planned times for your events, please consider the amount of time your students/players will miss class. Thank you!
