Igo News
January 23, 2023
Greetings Igo Families
Thank you for bringing your children to Igo to learn and grow. Our doors open at 7:05 a.m. It will help the traffic flow if some of the families can drop off by 7:20 a.m. Before that time there is very little traffic. After 7:20 the line gets really long.
Reminder: The front parking lot is for buses and cars with the special “front parking lot” pass only! All others must use the back drop-off lines.
Tardies hinder your child’s learning. Our instruction begins at 7:30 a.m. If your child is late you must bring them into the building and sign in.
We have attendance incentives for each grade level. This semester we are celebrating the classes that have excellent school attendance and encourage everyone to help us achieve our campus attendance target of 97%.
At the beginning of each week, the winning class from each grade level will be announced. The winning classes will each be awarded Iggy the Igo Cougar who will hang out in the winning classrooms for the week.

SchoolStore PTO Fundraiser
Io started the SchoolStore Fundraiser last week. Look for packets in your child’s backpacks.
This fundraiser is very easy! Simply log on and send emails to friends and family members. Bring the code you get back to school and get a cute hugger animal. See Something Say Something
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Congress authorized spending that allowed schools to serve free meals for all students. Those funds are not authorized to continue for the 2022-2023 school year.
