Famed Authors of the Magic Tree House Series Visit and Donate Books
In collaboration with Blue Willow Bookshop, Mary Pope Osborne and Natalie Pope Boyce visited Lobit Elementary on October 25, 2018. The authors donated 250 books, and their publisher Random House donated an additional 250. They only visited three schools in the United States this year. They wanted to visit a school affected by Harvey as their most recent books were about the terrible hurricane in Galveston in 1900 and the Fact Tracker companion Texas Heroes.
