Typhoid fever is a food/beverage transmitted disease caused by bacteria called Salmonella.

Typhoid fever affects 21.5 MILLION people annually.
It was discovered around 430 B.C.
Killed about 1/3 of Athens population.
Mary Mallon was the person who caused it.
Ways to avoid it/Ways to treat it
Watch out for suspicious food and get a vaccine. If you do get it use antibiotics and support care if necessary.

Typhoid Fever can cause:
- Bloody stools
- Chills
- Confusion
- Delirium
- Mood swings
- Weakness
- Nose Bleeds
