WELLNESS WEDNESDAYS
OGHS Student Edition 5.06.20
WELLNESS AT HOME
Dear Students,
We have officially made it to May and are in the 4th week of distance learning! It is hard to believe that we have been away from you for almost 8 weeks! We hope that you are doing well and adjusting nicely to our virtual platforms for the last month of school. May is typically a month full of excitement and running on the last bit of energy to prepare for finals, graduation, and end of the year festivities...which we still are, but just in a new and different way. Please know that EUHSD is still working on honoring and celebrating the CLASS of 2020 (still TBD)!!
With the school year winding down and continued uncertainties in society, it is truly important to find little moments to take care of yourself and truly make YOU a priority ❤️
Stay healthy and safe!

WEBSITES
Each Mind Matters--free activities and material (available in English and Spanish)
Action for Happiness--activities and ideas (activity calendar available in 20+ languages)
BAKING
Mexican Sprinkle Sugar Cookies--easy cookies and fun to make!
GO ON A HIKE ( a virtual hike)
Trails are opening their world to us right now through the internet. Studies show that seeing a tree or a forest canopy, even if it just an image, bolsters the parasympathetic division of the central nervous system that naturally induces calmness. Visit 12 Virtual Walking Trails to learn more.
