COVID-19

UPDATE

Update - 4 March 2022

Mauri Ora e Te Whānau

The numbers of positive cases within our Kura hāpori continues to climb and we have kaimahi and tamariki who are effected in someway and are isolating at home.

Kura is still open for onsite learning, however, we need whānau to be prepared to keep tamariki at home should plans need to change at short notice. Kaiako and tamariki are ready for Kura@Kainga.

As a precautionary measure we have sent devices and learning packs home with tamariki of Wharekura and Te Uru Kahikatea. They will be taking devices home each night and need to return them to Kura daily.

Early next week we will have Manaaki Packs for whānau to collect from Kura. Should we need to deliver (as you are isolating and have no way to have them collected) we need to ensure that we have your correct address. Please complete the form below to help us with this.

Please get in contact with us as soon as possible if your tamaiti has tested positive for COVID-19 or is required to isolate by calling the tari on 03 337 4360 or by emailing sharlene@whanau-tahi.school.nz

I implore you to continue to take care of each other and watch for signs of illness in your whānau, you can ring the COVID health line 0800 3585453 if you need more information.

Where are we at with COVID?

Join us online to hear about our steps forward for teaching and learning over the next couple of weeks.

This is also an opportunity for whānau to ask questions and share any concerns they have about learning here at Kura or online at home.
