Newark's DOPEST collaborative teacher learning event is set for SATURDAY, September 26, 2020!!! EdCamp's Un-Conference style PD is HONORED TO PopUp @ Seton Hall University! We celebrate Teacher Leadership and are committed to building and sustaining our Professional Learning Network (PLN). EdCampNewark is dedicated to connectedness amongst teachers, scholars, teaching, learning and sharing of equitable practices in responsive instruction for all students. We Welcome teachers, leaders, authors, scholars, writers, readers, coachers and ALL EDUCATORS responsible for the learning life of a child! Q- What does EdCampNewark cost?
A- Zip, zilch, zero! We are a free grassroots teacher led initiative (founded by a teacher) and we wouldn't dream of charging you. ONLY caveat for attendance is that you bring a teacher friend!
Q- What do I need for my day at EdCampNewark?
A- 3 things! A joyful attitude, your own devices (and chargers) and your learning spirit.
Q- How long are the sessions?
A- 45 minute sessions (all led by teachers) w/ 5-7 mins for Q + A
Q- Are the sessions and the day a quiet learning space?
A- Absolutely Not! We want you to talk, question, laugh, debate, teach, share and LEARN!

We create our session board in the morning and host a slew of session conversations on everything in education from Culturally Sustainable Pedagogy to STEM to Classroom Management to Literacy and New Teacher Orientation.
