A Special Message from Mrs. Kemmer, Assistant Principal!

We need you to…MOVE IT, MOVE IT, MOVE IT!
To help motivate you, we will be tracking tardies. You can expect there to be random tardy sweeps each week. We will be scanning your ID badges and documenting each time you are caught in a tardy sweep. Remember, those tardies may result in consequences such as lunch detentions, after-school detentions, or even your parents walking you from class to class. This is not meant to scare or intimidate you. This is to show you that we value your education, and we want you to get the most out of your teacher’s instruction.
Now, many of you are AMAZING at getting from class to class. If that is you…KEEP IT UP! In fact, grab (gently of course) a kiddo you see hanging out in the hallways and encourage them to get to class. We need YOU to be a leader of this pack!
RIsing 7th Grade Parent Information Night

It RETURNS on Monday, February 6, 2023!
The No-Go List will return next month. What does this mean for you? Be sure to keep on top of your assignments and maintain our PACK expectations. As a Wolf, you are to be Proactive, Accountable, a positive member of the Community, and exercise Kindness. Unfortunately, if you find yourself on the No-Go List, be advised that you will not be able to participate in any extra curricular activities and field trips.
If you find yourself on the No-Go List, that means you have incurred the following infractions:
- 2 or more F's
- Excessive Tardies: 10+ tardies in periods 2-7
- Behavior: 10 minors, 2 majors, and/or any Ed. Code violation
But wait! You will have the opportunity to earn your way off the No-Go List through one of the following options to improve your grades and/or behavior:
- Attend Catch-Up Saturday School and bring your grades up
- Perform Community Service
- Demonstrate proof of improving behavior
If you have any questions, please email Mrs. Padilla @ michelle.padilla@cnusd.k12.ca.us.
**NEW**
One change we have made to the No Go list since since semester 1 is in regards to the petition. Students ARE NOT required to petition off of the list. Instead, new data will be run every two weeks. If students have improved their behavior, they will no longer be on the list. For example, if you are on the list because of grades, you have 2 weeks to improve your grades and if they have improved, you will be automatically removed from the list. We hope this makes it easier to track for students and families.
Not sure if you are on the list? Check with your homeroom teacher.
The first list for the semester will be published on February 6th.
