Titan Tidbits - Parents
1st Week Wrap-Up
Car Rider Line - Changes beginning next week
Several Changes happening Tuesday, August 27th in the car rider line:
1.) We will start enforcing the TCES Tardy policy. Please understand that we have no control over traffic. We suggest leaving early as possible since our car rider line starts backing up around 7:25. Students must be IN THE BUILDING at 7:35 AM to be counted present and on time. At 7:36, parents will need to escort students in the office and sign them in. We would like to remind parents that our line is very manageable early (between 7:05 AM and 7:20 AM) and that parents pulling in at 7:30 AM or after will likely result in the student being tardy. We have had a great week and 4/5 days we were done with the car rider line before 7:35 (as early as 7:32). We know we can achieve this daily if we work together.
2.) Independence Day is Tuesday, August 27th, please read paragraphs below for more information.
3.) We will begin blocking the parking lot entrance like we did last year. If you need to park and bring something in, you will travel through the car rider line and enter the parking lot near the end of the first and second grade hallway. We will be able to assist our new families in this as needed.

Reminders: To ensure safety, please make sure you are driving slowly through the car rider line and following all procedures.
Please also remember that you may choose to walk, bike, or have your child(ren) ride the bus if you don't want to/have time to go through the car rider line.
Thank you for your attention to this.
On Tuesday, August 27th (Independence Day) we will begin normal drop off procedures for all students, which means students will either be dropped off by bus or will be dropped off in the car rider line. The quicker we can establish these morning procedures, the smoother and easier it is for the students.
Cub Scouts Meeting:
Cub Scouts enjoy great adventures and fun activities with kids their own age in a family-friendly environment. Scouting leads to new friends, strong values, and increased self-esteem. Maximize your child’s ability to succeed in life. All kindergarten through fifth grade boys and girls are invited to sign-up at our school on August 27, 2019 at 7 pm. Let Cub Scouting be your foundation for success! For more information visit www.adventurestartshere.org.

Update on New Lunch Procedures
