NEW STAFF SPOTLIGHT
Katie Adams- 1st Grade Teacher
Mrs. Adams speaks Spanish and spent a summer studying abroad in Costa Rica while in college. She loves going to the beach, reading, and playing with her kids.
When asked what she loves most about working with kids she said, "Every staff member at Ocean Crest has been so kind and welcoming, I feel very supported and set up for success! I love working with kids because it is never boring, each day is different, exciting, and full of surprises! I love getting to know my unique students and watching them learn and grow throughout the school year."

Homecoming tickets will be on sale during lunch. Advanced tickets are $13 for a single, $20 for a couple. Ticket prices at the door $18 for a single, $25 for a couple.

College Field Trip
On Monday, October 3rd, Mrs. Robertson and Mr. Holycross took a group of Juniors and Seniors to tour Umpqua Community College where the focus was to connect interested students with their mechanics and welding programs. Following the campus tour and lunch, the next stop was the Pacific Northwest Association for College Admission Counseling college fair at Roseburg High School. Students had the opportunity to meet with over 45 post-secondary college university programs from all across the nation.
