Summer Reading - Get excited!
- All students enrolled in a Keefe Tech English class are expected to read at least one book from the list below (click on summer reading 2019 button). However, we encourage you to read multiple books throughout the summer.
- All students will be expected to complete an essay upon returning to school in September during their first academic week. The essay will be graded and will count as a classwork grade for term 1.
- It is recommended that students take notes to help them write their essay, however, notes will not be collected or graded. Notes are allowed during the essay writing process.

NFTE New England Regional Business Plan Competition
From Mr. Warren:
Shane McConnell finished third this past Tuesday night in the regional business plan finals winning $500 (to start his new business). He did a great job presenting in front of a group of about 150 business people. Although he didn't win, he was graceful and thrilled to come as far as he had. It was a fun night!
I also want to mention that two other students from KT, Amanda Lamberti and Ashley Sok, took the night off from work to come to Boston and support Shane. I told them how impressed I was that they would do this for a peer (they actually did not know Shane before the competition). We have some really amazing students here at Keefe!
Welcoming the Class of 2023!

We hope that these scholarships are able to support our students moving forward into higher education and those who are beginning their careers. Thank you to our Guidance Department for working with students to complete scholarship applications and collaborating with outside benefactors. Another huge thank you to our Booster's Club for sponsoring 26 in-house awards, as well as the KTEA for sponsoring 13 scholarships!
