Anna Suarez, Mt. SAC VRC Student, is Montclair’s Woman of the Year!
Anna Suarez volunteers for Veterans of Foreign Wars in Ontario and helps veterans with PTSD transition back into civilian life.
She is currently pursuing her Associate degree in Sociology and Administration of Justice at Mt. San Antonio College, and hopes to continue working with Veterans.

Apply for the A.S. Book Scholarship - NO ESSAY!
The. Mt. SAC Associated Students Book Scholarship is worth up to $250 and offered during each major term (fall and spring). The A.S. Book Scholarship Program was initiated in August, 2000. The program is made possible through the approval and generous support of the Mt. San Antonio College Associated Student Government.
Applications will be considered through September 7th for Fall 2020 (or until all funds are exhausted, whichever comes first). The A.S. Book Scholarship is a no essay required scholarship.
To be eligible, an applicant must meet the following minimum requirements at the time of application and SUBMIT an AS Book Scholarship Application:
- Be enrolled in a minimum of 6 units
- Have no more than 60 cumulative units completed
- Have at least a 2.0 cumulative GPA or be a first time college student
- Be clear of all financial obligations to Mt. SAC
- Have paid the Student Activities Fee for the current semester (fall or spring)
- Have a current FAFSA or Dream Act application on file at Mt. SAC and be determined to have unmet need
Fall 2020 Registration REMINDERS
Registration for fall classes is well under way and the semester will officially begin August 24th.
REMINDERS FOR GI BILL© Students:
- All classes marked as "Transitioned Online" will be processed as residential given the section was planned as on-campus but changed from resident training to online training due to Covid-19.
- Only classes on your current Ed plan (MAP) on file with the Mt. SAC VRC are approved for certification.
- Student must submit certification documents PRIOR to the College's "Drop for Non-Payment" deadline avoid being dropped for non-payment.
- Every semester - students must submit the following to the Mt. SAC VRC to continue benefit usage:
1. Request for Active Educational Benefits Form (click here)
2. Copy of Schedule/Receipt (#11 on Student Tab in portal)
