Arches National Park contains the world's largest concentration of natural stone arches. This National Park is a red, arid desert, punctuated with oddly eroded sandstone forms such as fins, pinnacles, spires, balanced rocks, and arches. The 73,000-acre region has over 2,000 of these "miracles of nature."

What to do at Arches
Arches National Park offers a variety of sightseeing opportunities. You can see many of the parks features from your car. It will take you approximately 2 hours to drive the paved path through the park. If you are feeling a bit more adventurous, there are numerous hiking trails throughout the park. These trails vary in difficulty, and provide views of many more of the parks arches.
