Mingness
During the Ming dynasty, there was this place called the forbidden city. Only the rulers could enter, so it was forbidden. The emperors lived there and administed imperial government, all that boring stuff.
The dynasty crushers!
The Manchurians destroyed the Ming dynasty and started the Qing dynasty! The leader became China's new emperor. The Qing dynasty ruled for more than 260 years! That's a loooong time..
European rejection!
China did not like trading with Europeans and neither did Japan. They both went into isolation to resist foreign influences. They had strict trade rules which the Europeans did not like. Sad Face..
