Martin Luther king Jr. Was the biggest image on the civil rights movement and had used ideas from Gondi with nonviolent protest. Martin before he had started the movements he was a preacher. He was assassinated on April 4, 1968 by James Earl Ray at the Lorraine motel in Memphis, TN.


Was a protester promoting "black power". He had practiced the Muslim religion where he had realized that the blacks were just as equal as the whites. He did not allow whites to protest with the black because he believed that they were against it. He started letting whites protest when he got back from his long journey for his religion.
