MISSION MONDAY: (High School Football Boys - Greeting THIS WEEK)
Sportsmanship:
Our Mission for students, staff, parents, and volunteers this week is to practice good sportsmanship. At the beginning of the year, the sports seasons is just getting started, students are at recess which means no better time to set expectations and practice being a good sport. This week we are going to make good sportsmanship a priority. And truly we should already know what good sportsmanship looks like. Good sportsmanship is just good citizenship at an event where we happen to be keeping score. No matter if we are on the playground, field, court, bench, or in the stands our mission is to be safe, respectful, and responsible.
Be sure to compliment somebody about good sportsmanship whether it's a teammate, a fan, opponent, or coach. It feels good to take the high road. It feels even better when someone recognizes it.
